NNLM AoU Community Award: NFPL Create Your Healthy Life

The goal of the Niagara Falls Public Library (NFPL) Create Your Healthy Life: Bringing Digital Technology and Telehealth Access to Niagara for Learning,
Communication, and Building Your Healthiest Future project is to provide its library community a private environment and supportive resources to access
telehealth and personal health information by providing private computers and sound-proof, 1 – 4-person meeting booths. The Niagara Falls Public
Library is part of the NIOGA Library System, which serves Niagara, Orleans, and Genesee counties. NFPL operates as the central library in the NIOGA
system. The target audience of this project will be the NIOGA Library users, who may not have the resources and ability to access telehealth or
personalized health information services on their own, or may need individual direction and/or help with learning how to navigate the health tools. These
resources, quiet booths, and computers, will be located at the Main Library housed inside the Earl W. Brydges Building, for library system and community
members/users to access according to their needs.
