Granting CME Credit to Physicians for Attending Classes!
Congratulations to Eris Weaver for being the first Network librarian in the Pacific Southwest Region to complete the process for awarding Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit for PubMed training. Eris taught an Introduction to PubMed class in August and by competently filling in the paperwork was able to grant her physician attendees CME credits awarded by the National Institutes of Health/Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences (NIH/FAES) Committee.

The paperwork may seem daunting at first—you do need to follow the guidelines for publicity, evaluations and disclosure information. Fortunately, there is a handy checklist on the website.
