PubMed Books

Have you noticed "Books" on the black bar on the PubMed search screen? Now you can search full text books from each PubMed screen by clicking on this link. The book collection has grown significantly. While the initial texts focused on molecular genetics, new additions deal with surgery, smallpox and vaccinia, and medical microbiology. Particularly useful - especially if you need to explain NCBI and its programs to your users, is the NCBI Handbook. Here's the Handbook table of contents - you might find some of these chapters helpful for your educational programs.
