LIS Fall Development Award Application 2024
The Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) Region 2 is seeking library and information science (LIS) and data science students who desire an opportunity to network, learn new skills, and present in a professional setting while learning more about health sciences librarianship and outreach!

This program aims to introduce the future LIS workforce to the health sciences and trusted National Library of Medicine (NLM) resources and develop their professional skills. With coaching from a talented NNLM professional, each awardee will deliver a presentation on an NLM resource or NNLM priority during the 2024 MAC/SCMLA Joint Annual Meeting, Charleston, SC, from October 27-30, 2024.

  • Collaborate with an NNLM Region 2 Staff Member

  • Deliver meaningful information in a presentation to information professionals from around the country
  • Learn how to work a booth at a professional conference
  • Interface with library leadership
  • Engage with a professional development opportunity to bolster your skills in this field
