The Lancaster Community Library is partnering with the Lions Club to present two programs for our community, series title Community Health Awareness Series. The first program on diabetes will be presented by Nurse Practioner Sheila Branson. The second program on antibiotic resistance will be presented by retired dentist Dr. John Tollner. With these two programs we plan to educate our citizens about diabetes prevention, and raise the awareness of the problem of antibiotic resistant infections. The library will obtain several computers accessible to all citizens that will include pointers to the valuable resources of the National Library of Medicine.
