The speaker is presenting on electronic health record implementation and the power of well-organized data to improve individual patient level outcomes. Using case examples and lessons learned from his own institution, he will highlight a variety of uses for this kind of data in patient care. Librarians will gain knowledge about how clinical data is collected and used, and how they can be more involved in data-driven parts of their institutions.
