Subaward Project

Y4 Professional Development J.Romano

The Electronic Resources and Libraries (ER&L) annual conference in Austin, Texas, provides opportunities for librarians to learn improved methods for user access to biomedical content, and support for scholarly communication. The sessions, discussion panels, and webinars provided by ER&L cover a wide range of resource management related topics that align perfectly with the NNLM’s goal of improving access to biomedical information for health professionals and consumers. Attending librarians and staff gain knowledge in resource management areas such as discovery, access, data curation, licensing, and open access publishing.  The ER&L conference centers on discovery, accessibility, and technology advancement, thus giving librarians new tools to better assist students, faculty, and researchers, as well as potentially increase health information literacy within their local community.
