This proposal seeks funding for Dr. Brittny Bratcher-Rasmus, PhD, CHES®, to attend the 2025 Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) Conference to enhance health education curriculum, faculty development, and student opportunities at Lamar University’s Department of Health and Kinesiology. The conference will provide access to the latest research, best practices, and innovative teaching strategies in public health education, epidemiology, health promotion, and health equity. Dr. Bratcher-Rasmus will integrate key takeaways into Lamar University’s undergraduate and MPH programs, ensuring students receive evidence-based, culturally responsive health education. This aligns with NNLM’s mission to advance public health literacy and workforce development.
