The Southern Chapter of the Medical Library Association hosts an annual four-day meeting focused on professional development and scholarship for medical and health sciences librarians in the southeastern United States. This year's meeting will take place in October 2025 in Nashville, TN. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from keynote speakers, interact with paper/poster presenters, and participate in continuing education classes. Topics primarily relate to best practices in medical/health sciences librarianship including outreach to local communities, assessment, and research tools. The annual meeting is well attended and highly regarded within the southeast medical and health science librarian community.
