The “We are One”-“Somos Uno” project will address health literacy and access in the community to resources in the Network of the National Libraries of Medicine (NNLM) databases in the greater Dallas-Ft. Worth area. The “We are One”-“Somos Uno” project will leverage the Alliance for Progress current health education outreach efforts and our trusted position in the community to promote the NLM databases and other trustable web resources. Project staff will work closely with NNLM Region 3 to more meaningfully integrate NLM resources and will participate in relevant NNLM trainings to improve their skills. The long- term goal is to improve health outcomes in families of the greater Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
