The Emporia Public Library plans to promote SciStarter and NNLM through Citizen Science Month in April. Our chosen project is Alzheimers research and prevention. We will host 2 in-person events with devices and internet access for patrons to play the Stall Catcher game that furthers Alzheimers research and 2 in-person cooking demos with the topic of brain healthy foods that educates about the link between nutrition and Alzheimers prevention. We will also encourage patrons to play Stall Catchers at home and explore resources from NNLM.
