The Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) Region 5 Professional Development Award supports Ivan Portillo’s travel to and attendance at the MLGSCA/NCNMLG 2026 Joint Meeting in Las Vegas, NV. The aims of the joint meeting are to highlight innovations in health information services, data management, and evidence-based practice that can be applied across academic health sciences libraries. A primary focus of the joint meeting will be the implementation of artificial intelligence in medical and health sciences libraries. Ivan will attend CE sessions, presentations, and lightning talks during the joint meeting.
