PD Award Y5 H.Uhey

Heidi Uhey, Health Sciences Librarian at Baylor University, proposes attending the University of Michigan’s Systematic Reviews Workshop for Health Sciences Librarians to build advanced competencies in evidence-synthesis searching. Demand for systematic and scoping review support at Baylor—an R1 institution with growing health-focused research priorities—has increased substantially, and Uhey currently serves as the primary librarian assisting faculty with evidence-synthesis methodology in the health sciences. Advanced, hands-on training with national experts will enhance the precision and quality of Baylor’s literature search practices, directly supporting NNLM’s mission to improve access to trustworthy biomedical information and strengthen research skills across the health sciences. Skills gained will immediately impact faculty, graduate students, and interdisciplinary research teams engaged in producing high-quality evidence for clinical, public health, and policy applications.
