Definition
Any set of services offered by libraries in support of any of the aspects of the research data lifecycle. Libraries that offer these services may offer services in a number of different areas, including research data management, data sharing, data discovery, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, and reproducibility. Data services are not specific to one discipline, but support a range of disciplines including the basic sciences, health sciences, digital humanities, and computer science.
