Interlibrary Loan: From Basics to Current Issues

While interlibrary loan has been a core service for health science libraries for decades, changes in policies, software, and workflow are accelerating. This webinar will explain some basics of ILL and its platforms while also focusing on current issues and changes that are confronting libraries.

Speaker Information

Jennifer K. Lloyd, MLIS, AHIP is the Associate Director for the LSUHSC Libraries in New Orleans. She has been an ILL specialist for much of her 30 year career. She is a Distinguished Member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals and an active member of the South Central Chapter of the Medical Library Association.

This presentation meets the NLM/NIH strategic plan goal of advancing data science, open science, and biomedical informatics by providing information about resource sharing in order to address increasing health information access and use.
