This class is no longer accepting registrations

The NNLM National Center for Data Services will be holding a series of interactive "Community Discussions'' about the upcoming NIH Data Management and Sharing Plan Requirements (effective January 25, 2023). In these discussions, medical librarians and information professionals working in research data management will discuss challenges in addressing the National Institutes of Health Policy for Data Management and Sharing at their institutions.

To prepare for this session, we are seeking discussion questions from this community:

https://redcap.link/ncds-community-discussion

Please submit your questions about the NIH Data Management and Sharing Plan Requirements that you would like assistance with, especially questions that may apply to others as well. Be prepared to present your question and its context for 3–5 minutes during this event. Presenters will receive a $50 gift card

Question submissions are due July 10, 2022 at 11:59 PM Eastern.

As opposed to a traditional webinar format, the Community Discussion session will consist of:

  • 3-5 minute presentations on the chosen questions about ongoing challenges preparing for the new policy, and
  • Interactive discussion sessions with presenters and participants after each presentation

Join the National Center for Data Services for a discussion of this timely topic.
