Improving Cancer Care for Rural Communities, a three-part series

This three-part webinar series explores innovative strategies to improve rural cancer care through the Iowa Cancer Affiliate Network (I-CAN). Session 1 examines the challenges health professionals face in delivering high-quality cancer care in rural settings and introduces I-CAN’s collaborative, scalable model for expanding access to oncology expertise and strengthening evidence-based care. Session 2 highlights distance-based exercise programs designed to reduce supportive care disparities for rural cancer survivors. Session 3 offers a provider’s perspective on building and sustaining high-quality cancer programs in resource-limited settings. Together, these sessions share practical approaches to enhancing cancer care and survivorship in rural communities.
