Trauma-Informed and Relational Care for Libraries - Part 1 This is a two-workshop series to introduce trauma-informed care tools. The first workshop will focus on what is and isn’t trauma-informed through a set of reframes. We will then focus on how to better navigate shifting power dynamics from a lens of liberatory power by examining the trauma-informed reframe: Power Over to Power With.

In the second workshop, Nisha will focus on the impact of feelings and needs in your everyday work life, and she will introduce trauma-informed communication strategies based on her Trauma-Informed Communication Framework.
