Elevating Personal Health Reaching New Peaks at Cook 86s through Information Prescriptions

The Cook 86s Family Library and the Occupational Health Clinic will collaborate to increase staff awareness and use of the library with the implementation of Information Prescriptions. These Prescriptions, issued by providers in the Occupational Health Clinic, will identify personal health concerns at health appointments, and direct staff to the Family Library where they can request confidential health information. The library staff will provide information packets electronically, or in hardcopy if needed, to fill the Prescription. Through this service, Prescriptions will promote the use of online resources provided by the National Library of Medicine.
