Speaker Information
Sarah Engleking is a graduate student in the Master of Information Science program at the University of North Texas. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. Sarah has several years of experience as a middle school science she has also worked as a Library Clerk in a public library. Her area of concentration is Health Science Librarianship. Sarah is passionate about improving access to health information and aims to work in a medical library setting after graduation. In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, cooking, and playing golf.
Bri Hales is currently pursuing her Master of Library and Information Science at Simmons University. She holds two Bachelor’s degrees, Communication and Health Science. Bri’s diverse background includes experience in the medical field, non-profits, and e-commerce, along with time spent living abroad in Saudi Arabia. These experiences have fueled her passion for serving as a reliable resource and continually learning new skills. Medical librarianship presents a natural path that combines her interests and values. Based in Houston, traveling is Bri’s favorite hobby, along with dabbling in crafts and snuggling her two cats.
