Nutrition and Health Information Literacy in New Haven Public Schools New Haven Public Schools This project brings New Haven Public School (NHPS) teachers/librarians, medical librarians from Quinnipiac University and Yale University, medical, and nutritional experts to develop a health information literacy curriculum. Mental Health Awareness and Outreach Initiative to Stamford Community Ferguson Library Mental health issues have increased in the state of Connecticut over the last several years. As an urban public library, we have seen this first hand in our community. Factors such as the isolation due to the pandemic, financial stress, and unemployment are all contributing to the rise in mental health issues. Indoor air quality (IAQ) is a hot topic because of the COVID-19 pandemic and other airborne environmental health threats, like particulate matter and wildfire smoke.
